Interestingly, my favourite way to relax – I am 81 and live by myself – it screen time as in watching a good kdrama! My 85th series was Doctors which has 20 episodes. It reflected my values and I totally appreciated the 20 hours. I prefer kdramas to reading.

Im 75 and have inherited various items from my parents that came from grandparents, uncles and other family members. Nothing particularly valuable but sentimental and as I have no one to passs them onto my task for 2026 is to decide if they can go to a museum, family history society or pass on to let someone else enjoy them and free up my space. I have invested in plastic storage boxes for Christmas Decorations so not to have various cardboard boxes and have let go of things I no longer like. I feel I’m doing well at the moment thank you for your constant inspiration.

  3. I am a recent widow and I am downsizing to a smaller home. I have lots of hand me down Chrostmas decorations that I no longer need. I have packed them up and donated them to a favorite charity gift shop. I am sure they will give them a second life at Christmas for a family who cannot afford new decorations this year. A few of the Christmas decorations are antiques and I have passed them on to a friend who I didn’t know was an avid collector. Those items will be cherished in her family for many years to come.

  4. i enjoy 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. it is a time for focus and quiet reflection.

    1. I also do a puzzle every Christmas season. My family did one growing up- it brought together a rather strained group of people living under the same roof. I now do a 500 or 1000 by myself and love the challenge.
