A few years ago I moved all my spices out of the pantry closet and into 2 drawers in my island. Game changer! I used to spend so much time looking for spices on the lazy Susan. Now I open the drawer to alphabetized, labeled and tidy cooking helpers. I also wasted money buying duplicates because I couldn’t see what I had. Now cooking is even more fun.

    1. Love this. Well done. It obviously makes your life easier; and cooking more pleasurable, rather than stressful.

You are giving advice on kitchens with plenty of room. I can’t use the top two shelves in my cabinets as I’m short and too old to be using a stool. I have organized the best I can but still looks messy.

    1. Every home and every person is unique so some of the ideas would need to be customized to your situation.

    2. I have just reorganised my cupboards. The top shelf is difficult to reach. I am 76yrs of age and disabled. I can’t use a ladder so I bought a pink metal step stool to climb on holding my walking canes for support and I put the things I use the least on the top shelves, and use a catcher for mobility users to bring things down. It is the best option for me and works. The step stool in pink is metal and strong with a good footprint. This is important. It makes a difference. Cabinets are always way too high. I would prefer shelves instead of cabinets but have to work with what I have. My kitchen is better organised now. The advantage of having no upper cabinets is that you can benefit from using airfryers with a lid that opens well without the restrictions of upper cabinets. I have decluttered a lot and filled the space with meaningful items to make life easier. My worktops are full of 3 airfryers all doing different jobs, and a grill for quick cooking of burger’s and steaks. If I had the space I would fill it up so just using what I have and making it work. I LOVE MY KITCHEN NOW. A lot is trial and error. Hope this helps.

  3. All of them I have Studio and not a lot of Space I’m still trying to figure it out things that are functional and small
