  3. Hey Juliana, really helpful micro habits you’ve suggested, I want to try the journaling one, I’m already doing some of them like meditation, even though I’m not consistent

  4. I do many of these things, but a couple of them recently begun are making a difference in how my evenings flow. I pulled out my 20 year old fountain pen and began using it in my journal most nights. I also make sure that I read an cookery book, literary essay, or poem rather than scroll nightly. Before doing either, I listen to a literary podcast to remain connected in that world. Finally I’ve begun guided meditation with Tara Brach a few nights a week, particularly when feeling a bit anxious. All of these things have slowed my evening, making it easier to slide in and stay asleep. Great suggestions you’ve highlighted. Water in the morning especially. I keep sparkling water on my nightstand in a 40 ounce thermal travel cup. Still cool and refreshing first thing in the morning, it soothes my parched mouth.
